INTERGOLD CORPORATION (OTC BB-IGCO) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Newport Beach, California March 8, 1999 INTERGOLD CORPORPORATION REPORTS FURTHER 5-FOOT ASSAY RESULTS On behalf of the Board of Directors, Intergold Corporation ("the Company") announces further assay results with respect to their drilling program on the Blackhawk property 38 miles north of Twin Falls in the State of Idaho. The Company is currently assaying its latest drill cores on 5-foot intervals, and has previously provided information on three of eight cores. To date, the highest assay values were reported in core 98C-25. Core 98C-25 reported average assay values of .838 OPT over an 85' section of the core from 300' to 385' in depth with individual assay values as high as 2.822 OPT. The Company announces the completion of 5-foot interval testing on Core #98C-16 that has produced average Gold and Silver values of .076 and .141 ounces per short ton respectively. Assays were conducted by AuRIC Metallurgical Laboratories. The average assay values of the four 500-foot vertical HQ cores at 5-foot intervals provided to date are shown in the table below.
