E Newman: I don't think Buying a stock and selling it two - five days later is Daytrading. I think if you do a review of most my stocks, you will see that. Daytraders might be playing my stock, but I rarely Daytrade myself. I do post during the day sometimes because I can do that from work, sometimes.
The ONE Day stuff started out as a ribbing /joke between Doug and I along time ago. Somehow is seems to have stuck and some think it is fact now. It is not a fact 90% of the time.
Recent examples:
APLX short 2 days
LU, Long 3 weeks. That was a fun one!! wish I could have bought more shares!
GBFE Long 6 days
CNGR Long 7 days
TMRK Long 9 or 10 days
FFTI Short 2 days and 15 mins. of the third day
GWRX Short 2 days, long 3 days
FNHC 3 buys covering apx 8 days
HNV Long way to many days.... but thats another story. ( Apx 2 weeks )
BFLY so for 2 and expect it to go 4 days, maybe 5
SEVL Short not yet, expect that I will short it 2 to 4 days
You get the Idea.... I will hold stocks over a weekend but did not count that as part of the day count.

Everyone can point to stocks that Doug has picked that have done very well.. Same can be said for his picks that go no where or down. Not talking Daytrade here, talking Days, weeks, months.
I know, beleive me, I know... No one can be correct anywhere close to 100%. That is NOT an issue here!

I AM HAPPY that Doug spends time here.
I wish Doug would focus his TA ablities to stocks that are REALLY going to move. Short term, Mid. term, Daytrade, Long term...Take your pick.
GOOD TA should be able to pick them out.
Why never any Ebay, Amazon, LU, IBM, AOL, Jboh, etc, etc.. ( that was kind of a mix of daytrading, short term and long term ) or Lower priced more affordable versions of them? Good TA should see them coming!

I guess the point here is what I said in a post last night. Why not shoot for Homeruns and Settle for Doubles, maybe triples sometimes, maybe only singles and a walk.
Better that then shooting for Doubles and getting singles, walks, strike outs, tossed from the game, ....

As I am sure everyone knows, I cannot make a point in a few words. I type Novels. : >
Therefor, this is part One.

Part Two coming as soon as my family leaves the house.
