But how many members/subscribers to SI? Thats what the street looks for to evaluate a portal. AOL has 18mm subscribers. I think yahoo has about that many registered users - even though, according to the yahoo thread there are 50mm (I think that is way too high). Obviously gnet doesn't have anywhere near these numbers. But whatever they are, I'd like to know. Also since gnet doesn't have email there is less of an incentive to join - unless as I say you want to post on a Coffee Shop thread for free.
