I said the other day I figured the EBAY share value was going to Cdn.$1000/share before this year is out, (that's Cdn$1 cool million for 1,000 EBAY shares).!!! I now changed my mind on that and say the first 6 months of 1999. Looks like EBAY was flying again last week. Now Cdn. $675.00/share - up Cdn. $82.00/share on Friday alone. That's too rich for my blood. Does anyone know any Internet companies that are in the same business as EBAY - consumer to consumer auction???? As was mentioned before, that's a US$100 billion business and I don't think EBAY represents 1% of that so there's tremendous opportunity in the EBAY line of Auction business. EBAY must have some wicked market cap by now as opposed to their actual sales.???
