For a flat tax to happen we someone with communication skills who can show that everyone, and I mean everyone, would benefit from it. The problem with tax reform is that democrats use demogue tactics to make rpublicans look bad. It is one of the things that really angers me about dems. To them it is not a question of what is right - but a question of what ignorance they can use to gain power. Uplifting the poor is secondary to their regaining power. The things that have brought us the current expansion are largely Republican issues. Opening up the country to competition has allowed the fed to flood us with $ without resulting inflation. Bob
