Tommaso, yes there were many factors . Woodrow Wilson felt that the treaty of Versailes was unjust and contained the seeds of another war. The Weimar republic looked to monetary inflation to meet the onerous war reparations . This played a major factor in the destruction of the German economy and helped Hitler get elected. Many germans felt the French occupation of the Ruhr -a major industrial center was intolerable. We should never overlook the potential dangers of excessive monetary inflation and economic violence.
