Sarmad -- a mixed picture from Asia last night. Yen was strong and South Korea did well -- both of which seem linked to improved mood on techs -- but Tokyo was a little soft. This is year-end and there are cross-currents. All-in-all it should hold us back only slightly leading to a positive but not exuberant opening. I hope to see pretty good follow through as the day wears on, which is needed if this rally is going to start to feed on itself.
