Glenn ---

I don't know the official status of the 36190, but I did stumble across an excellent article in the latest issue of Newbridge News:

prodweb.newbridge.com

... . In September, BT selected GPT and the alliance of Siemens and Newbridge to supply its new broadband multiservices platform. This landmark decision makes BT the first major service provider to implement a single broadband ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) core network strategy. The contract awarded to GPT includes MainStreetXpress switches, customer access equipment and network and service management from the MainStreetXpress management suite and Newbridge Affiliate companies. This network will enable BT to seamlessly deliver a comprehensive range of services to its customers. . .

The 36190 is mentioned:

BT will be able to purchase equipment from GPT including the MainStreetXpress 36100 Access Concentrator, MainStreetXpress 36130 ATM Services Access Multiplexer, the MainStreetXpress 36150 Access Switch, the MainStreetXpress 36170 Multiservices Switch, the MainStreetXpress 36190 Core Services Switch -- the world's largest ATM switch.
