Mike from La......That's my OPEC pick, but that is a minor factor...WHY is the US bound and determined to bomb Iraq?....Inspectors have been gone for weeks, just enough time for Iraq to prepare a WMD....We, the public, don't know the half of it...scotty

OPEC CONTEST

I tend to agree with Ahmed that there will no new cuts and, furthermore, that the Saudis and other OPEC members cave to Iran's demand that its 300,000 barrel-per-day output cut should be from 3.9 million barrels a day, instead of 3.6 million that was contained in the June OPEC statement. I believe this intransigence on the part of the Iranians derailed the November talks. With the adjustment Opec could claim a 90% compliance. Non-OPEC members will maintain status-quo. Marginal well shut in and slow demand increase play to the best interests of the Saudi's and American interests as oil inches its way to $15
