Michael, Not really too hung up on distributions. Let me ask you a more important question - is this a stock for the long term? I bought some for myself and my kids, then turned around and sold within a couple of weeks - all the hype (both up and down) and the articles that the stock and the company was being manipulated was giving me sleepless nights (particularly if I lose my kids money!), so I took the profit and run. Touche, Michael. I can't believe we're still discussing this, but bottom line, when discussing the average and mean of such a large sample, U.S. drivers, those numbers will be quite close as I would expect a fairly normal distribution. And the whole thing is so subjective anyway (what is a good driver or a bad driver and how bad are the bad ones and how good are the good ones?) that this discussion has gotten all too silly. Let it suffice to say that half of all drivers are worse than the median and half are better than the median just as half of all investors are worse than the median and half are better. p.s. Just to save my own knuckles, I guess it's not quite half as there is that one person who is the median so it's about 49.9999% that are better and about 49.9999% who are worse. Back to Yahoo and the internuts, another good week except for Friday.
