Toy Soldier - Thank you for your response. It is true that Nortel is preoccupied with integrating Bay's software with Nortel"s software. Full support of NDS will, no doubt, be part of that process. I read about Novell's new program called "SCADS" which is an industrial strenght version of NDS for carriers and ISPs. Nortel is working on its "Succession" Platform so that carriers can preserve their investment in big circuit switches and still converge or integrate voice and data. Nortel customers may be a big part of the SCADS market. As you know, Nortel, by its acquisition of Bay, has a much larger market share of data switching than Lucent. They should be a more important part of NDS marketing for Novell.

Regards,

Ken
