Earlie...Thanks for your response..

I am not able to make the expert case for Intel, so I'll leave that to others, but a couple adjoinders to the (bear) arguments you listed (I do admit what your points are threatening)..

(1) Without the recent year and half surge of AMD, the DOJ would have a much stronger case against Intel....Ironically, AMD recent strength could change the outcome or at least have an effect in the decision..

(2) AMD still hasn't learned to be (adaquately) profitable at their operations, despite this rather large recent success...their management definently lacks something (a lot things)...Look for AMD to slip up (just as well) going forward...Bad things happen to bad managements rather easily...


Again, others (Paul Engel) can argue much better than me on this one...good luck to you..
