There is plenty information available on
stock brokers whether they are full service,
down to discount service brokers, on the internet.
You can find this information using a "search
engine." Yahoo, Infoseek, Altavista(sp?) are such
search engines where a person can find a multitude
of information. All one has to do is "look" and
search. All these brokers have "web sites" where a
person can find all the information he/she wants to know.
And if a person can not find answers to his/her
question, there is a number where he/she can call and get
more info. I have seen a lot of people asking where they
can find a broker, or what broker to use. Finding a broker
is the easy part to investing, especially when so much
information is readily available at your finger tips.
All you have to do is "apply" yourself and "look." If
anyone needs to be spoon fed, to find a broker, IMO, you're
in trouble from the start. But for those who still can't
