Just a comment about your comment:

I know I feel alot better knowing the action was taken to allow a cooling off and the markets to pause and assess fair value.These "curbs In" prevent a severe meltdown.

Would a daytrader not want severe meltdowns to occur? Followed
by severe upswings, etc. Volatility is a daytrader's best friend.

It seems that many on this thread (myself included) seem to always
trade the market from a long standpoint, so I suppose meltdowns don't
do much for us, but being proficient at going short can generally
provide some really good opportunities.
