Alright, that does it

let the golf story swap begin ;0)

Mine is a story of two holes in one

First Oct 8 1990

Mt Pleasant Golf and CC, Mt Pleasant IA

5th hole 140 yard downhill par 3 to the right and short of green is a rocky steep hillside

Slight headwind

Pin middle of green

Decide to punch a little 8 into the head wind. Caught it a bit thin with a slight push. Clears rocky hillside and disappears from site. Suddenly I see the ball shooting across the green, BAMM nails the pin dead on, bounces at least one foot up and drops. Easy uno. Excited, you bet. But it just did not feel right.

Oct 9 1991

5th hole Mt Pleasant CC

COLD. Mid 30s. It was either school or golf. Easy choice. I am only guy on the entire course other than super who is on 7th green which overlooks the 5th.

No wind. Smooth 9.

Pin front middle.

Stroked it solid. Right at the stick the entire flight. Knew it was good but as it landed a few feet shy of pin my head started the happy dance. One bounce, check, rolls in like it had eyes. THIS ONE FELT RIGHT. Luckily for me the super was watching or I would have never, ever been able to claim it. Check the dates on the holes in ones.

Man, do I love that story...

thanks for listening
