Gary, I understand your point but since MJ had decided to take on the role of PR, he should at least have a minimal understanding of the market's basic notions. Now having said this, presuming he didn't understand the short selling aspect, why did he tell Ed that he thought that the stock was being shorted? I don't know how it is with you guys, but when I talk with one of you I try to avoid saying things that I am not sure about, especially if it is on a professional level. Thus, if a client came to me for some legal advice, I wouldn't just tell this individual blah, blah, blah if I wasn't sure I knew what I was talking about. I would either get back to him or refer him to a specialist. Understand what I am trying to say Gary? I think this was evident when the price was sliding till the news release came out and then the flow of share stopped for about an hour The news release officially came out at 9:29 PT. Looking at the trading log, I would say that the price had already dropped to the 1.90 level when the release came out. The only reason we didn't see 1.25 was that the seller was considerate enough to tell its broker to keep the price above 1.90. As you can see, the PR had absolutely no effect on either the price or the flow shares. The 10 and 30 minute gaps you see are IMHO due to the fact that the seller didn't want to sell bellow 1.90. Therefore, there was a tug of war between some buyers that had some bids between 1.86 - 1.89 and the seller. Once the buyers realized that they wouldn't be getting filled they just changed their offer to 1.90. Moreover, the share price did not bounce because of the PR. It did so because the seller had finished dumping its shares.
