Dr. Schmidt with his Java expertise and the relationships that have evolved with the likes of SUNW and ORCL and others is the best thing that has ever happened to Novell. The company moral is the best it has been in years. And no more stupid acquisitions like Wordperfect.

What is really amazing is how the cash stockpile has basically not been touched, yet also not tapped for the right acquisition or put to better use as an investment.

Nonetheless, looks like the NOVL ship is now sailing on course according to the media, Wall Street, and the company's peers like Nortel, Lucent and Cisco...etc.
