Washdeck: Jim (JNelson) could answer this better than I, but essentially, a T1 connection is a direct connection to the internet. (or rather one type of direct connection -- others would be T3, cable-modem, etc). Rather than having to dial-up to an ISP with a modem, their server will be linked in to the global network known as the Internet. It allows them to host their website on their local machine rather than having to ftp their files to a hosting company. Jim, please correct any of my glaring errors or ommissions;) -smacs-
