The description of the "header" used by Microsoft reminds me of a similar item patented by a man who was involved with the CIA. I can understand wanting to keep track of documents which are downloaded from proprietary sources, for copyright purposes. I can't understand any innocent motive for wanting to keep track of where you go on the web. The information it would generate would be extremely valuable to advertisers, manufacturers, and "Big Brother" in all his manifestations. The cavalier disregard of our privacy astonishes me. This weekend I read a quotation from Scott Nealey, "You don't have any privacy, get over it." Wrong, Mr. Nealey. I have a right to privacy.

Yes, I am a lawyer, but I don't really intend to sue Microsoft, unless I find out something that really makes me mad.
