Good point. With respect to adultery, it's actually easy to rationalize, "it's nobody's business but my own," "what he/she doesn't know won't hurt him/her," "I only have one life to live."

The discussion kinda slid along a continuum from the initial point I was trying to make. I think we started with Germaine Greer, went to Pamela Anderson's breasts, then to what makes men stay vs. what makes them stray, then on to whether most men would stray if they could get away with it, which is what I thought we were arguing about. I don't think most men would stray even if they could get away with it. That's the only point I am trying to make. I don't doubt that most men lust in their hearts, but that isn't the same as acting on it.

E.'s point, if I understand it right, is that most men would stray if they could get away with it, but they don't think they can get away with it, or don't want to risk it.
