...Diamond stuffs boards with other companies' chips and writes the odd bit of software to interface the finished product with Windows.

Sort of like Dell?...or Gateway...or Packard Bell??

Wow, a new record for shallowness.

In this day and age, the definitions of "Technology" have moved beyond the ability design and manufacture. DIMD has an astute sense of where the market is for consumer computing. They know that home networking is breaking out, They know that digital music can be the next big hit. This knowledge, and the ability to put together competitive solutions to address the new markets, is enough to qualify DIMD is a Tech Stock.

Funny I was reading your post and thinking "this guy must not like DIMD" so I looked at the originator and recognized the name. Rod, I'm shocked to see you still on this thread. You were down on DIMD a couple years ago while I was range trading them. Now that I've decided to range trade them again, you are back (or maybe still here?). Small world...

PS. I like DIMD between 6-8. Plenty of 10% plus swings if you don't get too greedy. All jmho
