why no comments on dell's sub $1,000 computer? look in today's investor's business daily and you will see them offering a computer with monitor for $999.00 i am surprised noone has posted anything on here about this.

RE: Asked about competition from International Business Machines Corp's (NYSE:IBM - news) and Dell Computer Corp's (Nasdaq:DELL - news) recent large supply deal, Pfeiffer said he had not seen ''anything significant.'' Frank...honestly now...aren't you feeling like the most intelligent guy when someone who claims to be running a huge corporation dodge's a question that is basically asking you how long will you survive and he can't see "anything significant"????? Man...I barely got out of high school....this picture is in focus for me... :o) I bet he's regretting not cutting the throat of DELL when they tripped up back in 94....Instead CPQ chose to laugh at "the little boy"....This mistake has got to be haunting them every day....Yes, I love the competition...You can take the boy off the mat...but, you can't take the competitor out of him... Is this part of the "TAKE PAIN TO CAUSE MUCH PAIN" ??? Best, kemble
