Eye -- <Setting a new market high, crushing the previous high, and having a 200+ point move on a Friday is not what i would term a relief rally.> Perhaps you are unclear about what the term relief rally means. It is a rally sparked by the arrival of anticipated negative news. Prior to Thursday, the market was held back by rising bond yields. The employment report marked the short term high point for bond yields -- giving the market the opportunity to rally -- which is why the rest of the world refers to this type of move as a relief rally. The issue is -- does this set the stage for a new advance -- to which I have been saying -- yes. I have not held a short position since the day before the last expiration when AMZN touched 84 or so. Nor would I take a new short position now.

Very narrow rallies. Advance-decline continues to look pitiful.
