Dennis,

Just heard on CNBC, that an analyst is saying for certain that the DOW will hit 10000. Its not the issue whether he is right or wrong, but the issue I am trying to make is why do so many analysts and even those on SI want to boast their position so strongly.

It just appears that there is little sense of humility, maybe its a new paradign in our social infrastructure.

Well, the futures are basicly flat so the timing of a short-term top may be on target.

Dennis, if I remember correctly, Carpino was saying first week in April, no?

I've been thinking of all of the things that could happen that would cause this market to finally take a vacation around that time frame. Of course, what usually makes the market do such drastic things, is some unknown. However, isn't the next FOMC meeting March 30?

About Favors - I heard him on Friday, but honest to God, I couldn't tell you a darn thing he said.<G> And he looked more nervous this week.
