BOGUS Daniel Miller E-mail I and a few others recieved this e-mail yesterday. I noticed that the return e-mail address was different than Daniels "listed" e-mail address in his profile. Return-Path: dm15trader@hotmail.com X-Originating-IP: [207.228.71.147] From: "Daniel Miller" <dm15trader@hotmail.com> To: mikeb@baldino.com Subject: new stock Date: Sat, 06 Mar 1999 22:48:40 PST Just wanted to let you know that sometime this month I will be recommending ECEC. But please don't tell anyone...you are the only person I am telling. Buy how many shares you want. At $1/share you can seriously load up. Will keep you posted. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at hotmail.com You will notice that the e-mail displays "Originating-IP: [207.228.71.147]" This number traces back to an ISP in Austin texas...many know that Daniel lives in New Jersey. Because this e-mail is fraud, I am attempting to contact the ISP to aquire the name of the account that was issued the above IP address at the time stated on the email. Regardless of their actions, the name of the ISP, and the copy of the email will be turned over in a complaint to the SEC with a copy sent to the ISP. The person who mailed this can be traced. Despite the above, the stock mentioned was a pick of an investment newsletter and should do well on its own without false hype.
