Wayne,
Let's not think for a minute that SI members are the only ones who buy stock. There are around 500 - 1000 other message boards. In saying this we should be reminded also that stocks we select are not necessarily "pumped and Dumped" from SI either. We just see the volatility and make a decision.
I must admit that it would be nice if we were the only message board then blame could be directed to the original poster of the stock if it tanks and if it runs that person could be called a guru.LOL

Have a good day trading/investing all.

Osprey

<<You do not need to be the first one in a stock to get it at the best price. If there is a run there is almost always a dip. and if there isn't, well then forget about it and wait for the next train.>>

Very true. As well, one does not need to purchase a stock at the best price in order to benefit from it. IHWY, BIDN, MRPS, for instances. How much difference does it make if one purchased IHWY at 3 3/4 or 4 1/4 when it closed at 7 1/2 the next day and then ran again as high as 12 3/4 the day after. In many cases, I usually wait for confirmation of strength to add to my positions.

If you believe a stock is going to 10, it doesn't make much a difference if you pay 2, 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 for it, although in this bearish penny market, I would be more careful since runups are not as frequent or as strong as during the bullish cycles.

Wayne, you are so right about taking a moment...especially the part about doing your own DD on the stock, as you have pointed out many times to me, we are all ultimately responsible for our own picks.

Also, some that you have traded only as momo also have some longer term possibilities for those so inclined...that is where the DD really comes in handy.

I like making a quick buck as much as they next guy, but with the market so crazy lately, (and my fingers not as nimble as some...) sometimes buying one of the picks here on a dip after the first mention, then holding until the next PR (like you did with FDIR) is also a workable strategy.

I am glad to see you feeling better this AM! Have a great week.
