A post from Spangkme on Yahoo: See KANA 2 weeks before its launch. Went from 10c to 70c, then plummeted to 30c (new base) then slowly rose to 70c, solidified then ran to $4 in 3 days leading up to the launch. See GMHC, went from about 10c to 75c, then plummeted to 30c, soldifying at that level, and has since gone as high as 73c and just today was still in the 60s (though it has since dropped as the website was delayed). I like the nice slow .005, or .01 a day, hey even .05 a day would be alright.
