Goodness! Me agreeing with Joe Master? What has the world come to?

Joe-
Many of us have advocated this in the past. I brought it up at last year's annual meeting. I've sent letters on the subject off to Troy. I've posted here about the Evercel spinoff from ERC which is a nice template for doing a splitoff and having these subs be self financed. Once their rights offering is done, it should even prove an interesting trading comparable.

A core ECD would remain doing contract research and owning large pieces of the subsidiaries. A spin off and rights offering would allow a 25MW machine to be built at USSC, and for the capital accounts to be equalized (and fire put under the boiler) at GM/Ovonic. I think both could be done in a way where control wasn't lost. Hopefully we would see that the parts are worth lots more than the whole.
