In fact, an outside observer might think that the mate of the adulterer was a saint, given the provocations the mate was subjected to. Naughty, naughty, ending that sentence with a preposition, E! G&S tribunal for you! Seriously, you have to wonder sometimes if the mate is blind or doesn't subconsciously know that there must be something going on elsewhere. Possibly some do and figure that as long as the mate comes home and is an active part of the family, it's better not to risk losing the wholeness of the family unit. Possibly some are even relieved when the sex drives are very unequal?
