Has anybody looked at the RBIs ? Resurgent Bonds.

They are 5 Year US$ bonds for NRIs, which pay out 9% interest tax free. An US$ investment would increase in value by almost 50% over 5 years. So US$ 100k would become US$149k or so. Its not like gains in the stock market, but seems to be relatively risk free.

Any thoughts?
