Pat: Sorry I missed that CC.

That was certainly an encouraging statement. Did Siemens say if the agreement will be transferred to Unisphere or it will be expanded to include them. Also,were there details how they intend to strengthen the alliance.?

I was however surprised by the following statement by SIEMENS:

Siemens estimates the world market volume for data and Internet technology is currently $60 billion and is growing 17% annually -- more than 50% more than 50 percent faster than the overall
telecommunications market."

That makes the growth rate in the overall TELECOM market only 9%. Did Siemens get it right or do you have any reference showing otherwise.

and Dan Smith, founder of Cascade and now CEO of Sycamore Networks.

I thought that name looked familiar. So the CEO of the Company that really made ASND's ATM products is in Seimens/NN camp. That should be good.
