Play is over...

So if you have a stock which has limited downside & potentially a
very high upside (as demonstrated by it's volatility & past price peak
of $14), don't you think it's not a bad play?

Very high upside? Hehe. I love your sense of logic. You figure
that because it's been that high before YF.A has legitimate shot
at being that high again. Wishful thinking.

Even you should understand this sort of "no lose" opportunity...

I adore the fact that I have all these little quotes of yours to
use in the future.

You know, you would make a good reporter for the business dailies.
Because like them, you are good at stating the OBVIOUS. Now, do you
know why those same business reporters never make any money investing
on the side for themselves? Because they are great at reporting and
not much else.

I'm just trying to show people that the crap you post is not the
truth as you claim it to be. My god, you're trying to pass off
YF.A as a no lose opportunity!!!
Think about how stupid that is.

Lots of offers at $3.00...

I would hardly categorize YF as a sort of "no lose" opportunity.

At this point, it will take news to move the stock either higher or lower and I would certainly argue that the probability of negative news, given the recent happenings, is as likely as anything positive.

For YF to fall another $1 might not seem like much to someone who's held the stock for a while but it's a heck of a lot for anyone who's bought recently. There's never such thing as low or no risk with a stock like YF.

It strikes me that most of the positives outlined here so far appear more to be ways of legitimizing a continued position in a poor performing investment than anything else. When looking at reasons too buy or hold a stock, ask yourself if you could easily add in something like "I hope..." to the front of each reason. Chances are that you'll find you're coning yourself about half the time.

To all: "you would make a very good reporter....." [Intended not as a complement.]

I have benefited from the spirited debate and want that to continue. However, I would like lend my voice to the other requests here that we all stay away from negative personal comments. If the thread degenerates into insult/counter-insult then we'll lose the edification function.
