I'm no expert, I'm only stating that (as far as I know)
most homes only have one "choice" of cable provider, and that
most homes having access to HFC-upgraded cable plant will
find that the underlying cable internet access is provided
by either ATHM or TW/RoadRunner. Please notice the use
of the word "most" in a couple of key places above, I'm
sure there are exceptions.

My point is that if AOL teamed w/ TW, it would not directly hurt
ATHM's competitive position - a given household cannot just switch
from TW to ATHM or vice versa.

I make no claims on whether this is a duopoly, on whether
it will last, or anything else. It's just a statement of
"what is".
