Chile posts $208.1 mln trade surplus Feb 1-15 SANTIAGO, March 8 (Reuters) - Chile posted a $208.1 million surplus in its trade balance in the first half of February, the central bank reported Monday. In the first 15 days of the month, exports totaled $680 million and imports reached $471.9 million, it said in a report. From January 1 to February 15, Chile accumulated a trade surplus of $230 million with exports of $1.96 billion and imports of $1.73 billion. For all of this year, the central bank expects Chile to post a trade deficit of $1.9 billion compared with lst year's deficit of $2.50 billion. 08:18 03-08-99
