I believe the cable isp for media one is actually or will soon be roadrunner - so yes, I believe they are technically competitors although the service area overlap is minimal if it exists at all. If I am wrong someone will correct me I'm sure... Hopefully roadrunner and @home will finally get some type of deal done. It think it is win win - but the big egos at athm and twx just won't let it happen because they have differences of opinion about value. I hope they realize soon that whatever the details they will both come out way ahead if they are able to present a united (move across town or across country - keep your isp) nationwide cable isp system to consumers. This will further solidify they lead they have over dsl...
