Novell (NOVL) is sharply higher following
an article published over the weekend in
Barrons' stating that Novell may be the
next Internet play. The stock, which
appeared on the 9:24 a.m. cdt
ProSearch run of Positive Price Gaps, is
up $2-5/8 to $22-3/4 on very heavy
volume 17.8 million shares, or 302% of
its 30-day average volume. The stock
has corrected off its session high of
$24-1/2, which coincides with major
long-term resistance in the $23-$25
level. A break above $25 would signal in
higher prices, initially to $32.
