Teflon, Welcome back!!
If we did not have ToySoldier, i might have ended up posting to myself a lot of times---thanks Toy<g>

I actually like the low volume going up. We know there is a lot of money out there waiting for a home. There is some hope among these mutual fund managers that they can buy on a downturn. As the prospects for such a downward move start to get dim, we could see a big breakout.---almost 3 weeks to split. That should increase volume going forward.
I am especially encouraged by Intel's comments about the Pentium III doing better than expected. This is reducing the fear of an Intel preannouncement which might have affected MSFT as well for a short period of time.

Lets wait and see.

Hoping for a late day rally to move it 160. Will settle for a close of 157.

Should Gates Give "Box-Makers" More Latitude?

Thought for the Day:

"Failing to simplify the PC also has its costs. The Wintel formula of wrapping ever-increasing sameness around ever-increasing complexity is getting old. It hasn't produced a single distinctive model that sends people running to the showroom." Phil Lemmons, editorial director of PC World

PS: By "box-makers" I mean to suggest that Wintel machines are pretty much mechanical clones made from the same cookie-cutter. Does anyone really believe that we have reached the pinnacle of hardware innovation? Or are things just being made convenient for the supplier of the OS? HR
