CPU stores leave a lot to be desired. Their stores are cramped, unorganized, badly lit and a mess. Computer City stores were much nicer. Of course, CPU closed them. Also their service policy stinks. I bought a computer in Computer City. I had a problem and they went out of their way to fix it. CPU on the other has a policy of no support, unless of course you pay for it. Very bad management.

Just my two cents.

You people are beginning to crack me up. Aren't you wondering why millions of shares are changing hands today and the price isn't moving on this stock? Seems like that would be a more worthwhile focus of attention than bitching about CPU's sales, service, price, whatever. For what it's worth (and that's about zero to the bears on this thread, I have a friend who recently purchased over a dozen computers at once from CompUSA for business associates. She shopped hard, bargained hard, and said she was convinced she couldn't get a better deal anywhere else.

I think the world needs CPU to compete at the consumer level with Best Buy, and it seems to be doing it pretty well, at least in my area. And as for their prices being too high--the Sunday ad for CompUSA offered a computer system for $800. Next thing you know, computers will be free, just like this stock.
