Kenya AA, I wouldn't worry about the glasses. On some women they can look very classy. Personally I like the look.

The reply reflects a typical media attitude. The media doesn't just report the news anymore. They also analyze the news for us and tell us what to think about the news. Sometimes they don't report the news. They just report the analysis as the news. Sometimes it is so bad, I have a hard time sifting the facts from the opinions.

What CNBC is saying is Compaq didn't formally announce an earnings warnings. We know that. But, it is our analysis opinion that they did warn investors. This was a warning because analyst's lowered earning's estimates based on the Houston visit. Therefore, we are reporting that Compaq warned investors even thought there was no formal announcement.

A Catch 22 situation.
