CMG announces SMS for CMDA, TDMA

NASHUA, N.H.—CMG announced its short message service is available
for Code Division Multiple Access and Time Division Multiple Access
networks. SMS transmits limited text or data from networks to mobile
phones.

‘‘In addition to the North American market, CDMA and TDMA products
will be important drivers of growth in Latin America and Asia,'' said Dick
Bloom, CMG president. ‘‘This is an excellent opportunity for CDMA and
TDMA carriers to begin implementing SMS.''

CMG is a supplier of digital mobile telephony solutions.

And the generation after that, we'll be looking at wireless phones
with a 384-kilobit modem to enable your phone to receive full-motion

I wonder how they'll do that on the ATT network? And full motion video with *40 DAYS* standby time. Clark, Walt, Engineeer?
