Fair enough..but it is just is likely that he (Fed. gov.) IS NOT on a covert Fed mission, but is just airing his view publicly (without a secret mission)...These guys have to protect their importance, you know...Quotes are a necessity to maintaining the all-important public profile (likely, just some reporter called him to get a quote...) Greenspan has had (will have) plenty of ops to "get the message" out if he trying to jawbone...I think he gave us a mini-jawbone a week ago... Good luck to you..the debate continues...
