Maybe he's talking about options on options. (Is there such a thing?)

Tito,

dont blame you for not understanding...i called my stock broker he didnt know either...but i sent e-email to an option broker he says there are such options (but would not ellaborate instead gave me date of an option seminar and said there were disadvantages and risks with this kind of option strategy). I never heard of this until a month ago on the business channel. from what i understand instead of buying an regular or LEAP option on AMAT for example. you can buy an option on AMAT LEAP. If you exercise this short term option before expiration, you can buy the LEAP. This basically gives you more leverage than a regular option. you can then trade or exercise the LEAP.

if i find out more about this, i will post my findings

thanks
