CYC, I think Dow 10,000 has a chance, but only if the Nasdaq declines. Right now, the reason we saw Nasdaq up and Dow down today was that I believe Wall Street is on a short leash from Greenspan. Any more stampeding the herd like last Friday will have to be met with something other than jawboning. So, they sacrificed the Dow to run the most overpriced stocks. BTW, last I saw, the Nasdaq still had more losers than winners on a huge up day. But the whole thing reminds me of the DEC champagne party. You may have heard about it. They were closing in on either $200 or $300, I can't remember after all these years and stock splits, and DEC decided to throw a huge party the day they hit that number. Never did. I understand they gave each of the executives they laid off over the next 15 years a bottle of the champagne. <g> Actually, I think we have a crack baby on our hands. MB

MB: I can hear the pregnant woman screaming now. The specialist keeps saying, "Push! Push harder, you can do it!" He turns around and say, "Bring in more liquid, we need lots of it!" Alan G has just about flattened the jelly tube, he says "I have no more, no more ..." A barrel of oil is brought in. The specialist says, "I am not waiting for the cyber doctor to do the C-section. Where the heck is he? Let's inject tons of oil to lubricate. It is coming!!!" If, as you say, we ends up having a crack baby in our hands, it will be sad, very sad. Ahh, the suspense continues.
