GaryB; ie: E-Waves -

Damn; I did get filled on HLX at the close - oh well under $4 at least - next buy at $2 to avg down <VBG> , makes it easy with these cheapies ...if I talk about buying TCMS, or HMAR here - someone stop me !

You know Gary; I am not ''completely'' sold on TA being the end all in all situations - not that I think you are either. My only real problem is with those who will make their total decisions on TA (regardless of the method) irregardless of what is happening fundamentally, or on the news front. But, the arguement is that the Streets bullish expectations and potential reversal on what OPEC does is also reflected in these EW's. Looks like the Ew's performed pretty well of late.

your comments below, are eerie -this is exactly what I see happening !

<< So-o-o-o if the OSX peaks out here and proceeds to print 40ish due to the 'no cuts' worry taking hold, it would have been a textbook elliott pattern into today's high.>>

I like Bollinger Bands with Moving Avg's, & Stochs as a second indicator and then use an overiding ''feel'' for the pulse of the market and how the ''emotion/sentiment'' is in relation to what I view as fundamental reality values. Having had a quadruple bottom made buying between OSX 45-50 pretty prudent of late. I see new lows of OSX 40ish if no opec cuts.

I see the emotion being too heady here, but also think that we will not only get taken too high here, but will also get taken too low if OPEC does not cut. As such - I want to ''clip'' the top and be back in at the bottom... I will buy in small entrys on a OPEC selloff if we get one; the good thing is that I will not have to start unless we see sub OSX 45-8 and new individual lows.

good luck

PS how the hell does anyone who has been through the Oilpatch Wars buy stocks like RON/CAM here ??? - this is why I am buying damn HLX <VBG>! Can't pull the trigger of the Mo-Mo's ?!?!

anyone follow Magnum Hunter/MHR in small cap E&P's ? - damn; I have to own some of that just on the name alone ! MAGNUM HUNTER !

Gary, I also guessed a 5-wave pattern completed today, and based on that I decided to completely exit my OS positions. I will now wait for a pullback or some other indication to get back in.

I appreciate your EW analysis and look forward to more in the future.

Thanks,

Luis
