Am I the only one (and maybe Falstaff) that thinks this major announcement is related to gene chips? It all makes sense when you look at the context of what Martinez said in the conference call. He might not be able to announce a sale of this type because it really does matter, unlike the IBM sales. This may be much more sensitive than other things they've been involved in to date. If the JMAR name gets linked to gene chips, this could be huge for JMAR.

I just listened to a replay of the Red Chip Seminar. At the very end of the JMAR presentation, Martinez mentions biomedical lithography steppers and says, "We've entered into that business and recently made our first shipment." He also says something about "We should have some news out soon." It sounds as though JMAR is producing the steppers and has sold them to their first customer. Is that the impression the rest of you have gotten?
