AMD EXPECTS TO SHIP NO MORE THAN 5 MILLION K6 PRODUCTS IN Q1.

Isn't it convenient that the FTC dropped their investigation today? The same day that the fruits of Intel's predatory pricing strategy became apparent.

Intel has the cash to put AMD out of business. It is just a question of how easily the FTC will be bought off.

Gotta love that Sanders. Nothing like paying money you don't have to build a new fab when you can't sell the chips you're already making. Maybe they should try selling them at a loss...OOPS I forgot, they already are.

I hereby dub the new fab LEHI II. <g>

EDIT: Even worse..turns out to be a yields problem. They are just a bunch of bald-faced liers.......

<AMD EXPECTS TO SHIP NO MORE THAN 5 MILLION K6 PRODUCTS IN Q1.>

Does this mean that AMD is severely capacity-constrained? I wonder if AMD is having trouble trying to hit their speed requirements for the big-die K6-III.

Glad I didn't purchase any AMD shares yet. But then again, how much lower can AMD go, considering that bad news is already factored into the price?
