That's interesting. People who are bearish on Iomega often say that Iomega may be on top of their market now, but that other companies will destroy them by leapfrogging their technology. As if Iomega is going to stand still.

In the case of Castlewood, I would note that the Orb drive was announced in the fall of '97, was delivered over a year late, and still hasn't shipped in appreciable quantities, as far as I can tell. Orb media is not shipping at all, yet.

Yes, I'd say that Orb is the only thing Castlewood has. But of course, if it's successful, they will have other products. I think most of us on this thread are aware that other companies are developing products. I'm not sure where you got the idea that we're not.
