Rpt - Amd Cites Lower Yields for Shipment
Shortfall

(This is a headline-only alert, although it will likely be followed by an
article soon)

Lower yields again. Low yields mean low reliability, ask IBM. Not that IBM gets low yields, but they know that one leads to the other. IMO, this places AMD back to square one wrt getting any credibility with the business community for selling computers there based on their chips. Home users may not care, but businesses do care about reliability. Businesses will spend bookoo extra bucks for reliability.

Say goodnight AMD.
