Those are good arguments. But short term, remember the day traders are day traders, they will be out at 4:00 p.m. every day. Also keep in mind that anyone that is short the stock and didn't check it during the day today will probably have some very loose sphincters when they see what happened. The market makers were either flat or long at the end of the day today, IMHO, so the action on the stock will be determined in the morning, probably before 11 a.m. CMGI ran almost 50 points today and closed less than a point off its high of the day. Smart people don't step in front of a moving train.
