Stan asks.....
>Is NOVL overvalued? Is it reasonable to expect NOVL's earnings growth rate to approach its p/e? Several analysts project a 3-5yr earns. growth rate at half its p/e.>

Compared to what? Compared to other internet stocks? Compared to internets with no earnings? NO.

And NOVL actually has something of a technological nature that can't be duplicated easily. Plus a history of developing and delivering quality products. Plus actual current earnings and opportunities to substantially increase their earnings growth rates.

And with the tech media and the investment community now starting to recognize that NOVL is far from DOA this is a stock to own and hold.

IMHO.

overvalued?
a pe double its projected growth rate may be rich, but compared to msft, dell, csco, aol, sunw or orcl, it looks rather cheap

Is it reasonable for ebay to have a p/e of almost 4000?
